Last minute updates!

Below you will find:

- Race/start info
- Open containers
- The after party!
- Raffle
- Other Sadie Hawkins' events

SEE YOU AT THE START:
You've pre-registered, but you still need the list of which of those checkpoints is a pick-up and which is a drop-off, so you'll need to come to the race start at Humboldt Park at 4pm. At 4pm we'll give folks spoke cards and manifests (your ride guide) and final instructions. The ride will start around 5pm, as soon as everyone gets what they need. DRESS WARM. I cannot emphasize how important it is to keep warm! We also STRONGLY recommend helmets and lights. You can pick up cheap lights at Performance Bikes.

HOW IT WORKS:
Just a reminder, this is a ride with pick-ups and drop offs. Your manifest will tell you which is which, but the trick is you can go in any order as long as you don't go to the drop-off till you have the item you're dropping off- make sense? For example, a pick-up might give you a tootsie roll pop, and the drop off might make you figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center. If you show up to that drop off without the item, you can't do the task, so you'd have to go back and get it. You can do all 4 pick-drop pairs, or as many as you'd like. Only teams who complete all 8 checkpoints qualify for the "fastest" prizes, but if you skip some, no worries, there are other fun prizes for best dressed, style, and the best at some of the checkpoint tasks. Checkpoints will close 2 hours after the start. If it's been 2 hours and you haven't finished all checkpoints, start heading towards the last check point.

OPEN CONTAINERS:
Due to prior events and our experience, we ask that there are no open containers at the registration/start. Don't even take it out of your bag. The Chicago Police Department are probably going to be lingering and we want to avoid anyone getting tickets or having the Sadie shut down. Please please please, no drinking at the boathouse!

RAFFLE TICKETS:
If you haven't already, pick up some raffle tickets! Five tickets for 5 bucks for the chance to win a custom paint job for you bike frame!

AFTER PARTY:
The after party will be held at 2606 W. North Ave in Humboldt Park.

Party start time:

The official party start time is 6pm, dancing will start around 7:30pm, award announcements will start around 9pm, and IRO sprints right after awards announced (IRO sprint time may change so I'll let you know).

Beer:
Our lovely sponsored beer is of course PBR. Beer will be sold similar to the method used at the messenger prom (except we won't have a crabby bartender but be nice to him or I will put you in a headlock). Your first beer will be $1 - every time you bring your can back, your next fermented beverage will be 25 cents. Hell, if you find a can on the floor, pick it up and get a beer for a quarter. We're just trying to keep the place as clean as possible.

There is a corner store and a liquor store close for the non-drinkers and the hard drinkers who would prefer to drink something outside of PBR.

Bike Parking:
There isn't much in the neighborhood. Michael and I are going to figure out if there's a way bikes can be brought upstairs so you can dance without worries. If not, find a place to lock and mass up.

Food:
Unfortunately, I was unable to get a food sponsor this year. But you are surrounded by deliciousness and shouldn't have a problem finding somewhere to grab a quick bite. Vegans - ask around and someone can help you eat, too. There are plenty options within a mile's radius!

IRO Sprints:
It will be $5 to participate. Sprint your ass off! Ladies, I encourage you to do the same!
